Since the company was founded in Hall, in the Tirol region of Austria, in 1896 by engineer Karl Geppert (1867-1918), further leading engineers have shaped the family business. Since then, concepts for the efficient use of hydropower have been developed and successfully implemented with the aim of using this proven energy source as the energy of the future.
